Panoramic Photographs.

Here I have done some research on a panoramic photographers and have come across a photographer called Will Pearson, from London.

First day in Athens we went for a walk and came across these lanterns in the street.

Here are a few photographs that I took in Greece, Athens. 

Green

Here are my photographs for Green, these were also taken in Greece, Athens. I found these interesting because they are showing the area and what it looks like where we had a visit. I thought the picture of the green bird linked well as we were on our way to a gallery we came to a zoo in the middle of a garden. I like all these images and think they are successful because they fit in the theme.

Work

These are the photographs I used for work. These were taken in Athens on a Cultural Visit earlier this month. I feel these images work as the show a different way of us working in the UK. She was mopping and cleaning the floors when we went to the Lycabettus Hill. I thought these images were interesting because I was thinking to myself about why she was wearing a head scarf and a jumper in boiling hot weather as you can see from the sun in the photos.

Expectation

Here are my photographs for the word Expectation. I feel this images were successful because they show the feelings that he is wanting to express. I had got my model to play around showing different facial expressions. I have used a lamp in my living room to show an effect on his face. I tried standing and seating poses to see which would work better and I feel the seated was more successful because the chair makes the image have more effect. I preferred these images in black and white because the contrast of colour works together better than having colour.

University Update

 For my University interview which was on Monday, I was given a project to do. I had to take photographs for the three words Green, Work and Expectation. My ideas and final images for green were photographs that I had taken in Greece, Athens. They were photographs of landscapes around Athens. Work I had also taken images in Athens of some lady cleaning and mopping the floor. Then for the final expectation I had a model and done a few portraits for him showing facial expressions of things that he could be expecting. Such as sad, happy, surprised. I played around with the lightening so half his face was shown and it was hard to see what facial expression he was doing.
